Genetic codes are degenerate meaning most of amino acids can be encoded by more than one codon (triplet of nucleotides); such codons are synonymous and usually differ by one nucleotide in the third position. The alternative synonymous codons are not used with similar frequency and their usage varies among different genes. Hence there is the presence of Relative Synonymous Codon Usage values. Ponds and tanks dominate with 90.62 parent resources under culture. Overall 87.56% of total potential resource is utilized for culture leaving another 12.44% for bring under culture.
